Woolstock Week Is Over! August 25, 2019

Woolstock Week Is Over! August 25, 2019

All things fibre, what a week they had at Woolstock in Tatamagouche, Nova Scotia. This is a small town but mighty with their passion for fibre.

I was fortunate to be a part of the Woolstock Fibre Village and Market yesterday. What fun I had at my very first event like this. My booth was small but mighty. Hook-Ins and Wool Genie's - OH MY!, August 18, 2019

Hook-Ins and Wool Genie's - OH MY!, August 18, 2019

It has been a busy week! Hope your week was well for you. Where to start, let's begin with the Wallace Hook-In, hosted by the Remsheg Rug Hooking group. We sat out under apple trees hooking, chatting, admiring each other's work, getting fed! One can't ask for more but more we had. Rug displays and vendors. A few pictures below of the day for your enjoyment.

Renowned fibre artist, Kay LeFevre (aka Wool Genie) was present at the Wallace Hook-In with her lovely rugs. Kay's rugs are hooked with yarn. See below a few pictures of her rugs.

I was in Halifax last Sunday evening at my daughter and son-in laws and completely forgot to blog Sunday evening, sorry about that. My daughter, Jenna, grandson (Denver) and I went to the Buskers. Have you done that before? We had not so it was fun to take that in. It was extremely hot that day on the water front so a good day for all of the activity. The below was...

Lazy Summer Days, July 28, 2019

Lazy Summer Days, July 28, 2019

Are you the type (we’ll call type A) to finish something once you start or the type B to put off until later? When making a sandwich, do you put away each item you got out to make your sandwich as you use it or put away later? For both of these scenarios I’d be the person finishing something I started and putting away the bread and butter as I use them. It is funny really how we aren’t ‘sometimes’ type A and sometimes type B we are usually one or the other.

Last week I decided I needed to...
