Happy Mother's Day to all you special ladies out there. My sister Dianne and I took our mother, Joan Ripley out for our annual flower shopping day yesterday. We decided to visit the Dutch Cheese farm and the above picture is the beautiful view of the Bay of Fundy from the farm. Lunch at Diane's in Five Islands, it was the perfect day.

On The Road Again!

It has been a busy week and it will be even a busier following week at the Nova Scotia, Rug Hooking Guild, Rug School in Halifax. The lovely lady in the photo above with me is Donna Hezlep from Portland, Maine. She is on her way to rug school and stayed with me Friday night. What a delight she is. We had some great chats! Everyone who is going to rug school is very excited to get together with like minded people for an entire week of learning.

Gearing Up For Rug School
It is the week before the Rug Hooking Guild of Nova Scotia, Rug School and excitement is building. So many things to think about! What cloths to bring? Snacks? Wine? You can see where my priorities lie. I will be taking a geometric course with Tatiana Knodel. I am purchasing the pattern from her and I can't wait to get started! The plan is I will be using overdyed textures and plaids. You know how plans go. There...
Gratitude

I am so blessed to have rug hookers who want to visit my studio. Two bus loads visited this week from the Island Matters group in PEI. The ladies had a busy day, lots of shops to visit. What a day of joy for everyone. Thanks everyone for visiting and shopping, I sure do appreciate your business.
