Another Week of Rain

I spent the weekend at my daughters and my oldest granddaughter turned 6 on Friday.  Her father loves to 'rock climb' and Sophie has been asking for some time if her father would let her rock climb.  He promised her when she turned 6, he will take her rock climbing.  Friday Sophie went rock climbing.  This is her above and guess what?  She loves it and wants to go again.

When it rains daily, we need to find other things to do inside.  Dream about your next hooking project?...

Fun Times!

My rug above, I started at rug school, has been finished being rug hooked.  Now I am working on the Kilim stitch on the top and bottom and I will whip the sides then fringes come last.  If you zoom in, you can see the kilim stitch is almost done on one end of the rug.

Last week I attended rug school at the Mount Saint Vincent in Halifax, NS. The above photo were my roommates, crazy bunch but we had so much fun. ...

Donna Hezlep stopped in on her way to Halifax for the Rug School which begins...

April Showers

It is hard to believe that April is near over!  The old saying, 'April showers bring May flowers', I sure hope it is right as we've had our share of April showers I think.

It has been a very busy week.  Wednesday, the Springhill group had a Coneflower course with Carolyn Ells.  It was a fun workshop to do, here is a few photos. My coneflower is the one in the second photo with the blue background mainly hooked.
