Busy Times

It has been so lovely to see an increase in foot traffic to my studio this past week.  Did I remember to take any photos? No!  There were people come from as far away as Atlanta, Georgia.

I attended a two day rug hooking course with Jane Steele (River House Studio) this week.  Monochromatic with a pop of colour. A few pictures below of some of the gang who attended and Jane's lovely rugs.  We had a great few days!

Sunny Warm Days and Good Times With Friends

The above sunset I stole from one of the gals, forget which one, my apologies.  Beautiful sunsets every evening from this wonderful deck at our rug hooking retreat we were on last week in PEI. We couldn't have asked for better weather.  More pictures below on the deck.

You can also join the Rug Hooking Guild of Nova Scotia, many regions all over the Maritimes, PEI and Newfoundland...

Back Into The Swing of Things

It has been a rough few weeks for me since I arrived home from Europe.  I came home with pneumonia and I had never had that before.  I'm not coughing as much now and feel much better but still mending. I appreciate all the kind thoughts, visits and treats given to me.  Charlie has been taking good care of me.

As you know, we haven't gotten rain much over the past few months and fires are breaking out all over Canada.  My prayers and thanks for all of the volunteers trying...
