It is the week before the Rug Hooking Guild of Nova Scotia, Rug School and excitement is building. So many things to think about! What cloths to bring? Snacks? Wine? You can see where my priorities lie. I will be taking a geometric course with Tatiana Knodel. I am purchasing the pattern from her and I can't wait to get started! The plan is I will be using overdyed textures and plaids. You know how plans go. There will be so many people I'll get to see and chat with that I haven't seen in a long time so it will be nice to catch up. A week filled to the brim with activities and great food with like minded people.
Tomorrow evening is my next Bakers Dozen zoom class that I am looking forward to. The class this time with be with Susan Clarke. We learn all about hooking calm and rough waters. The pattern frankly is intimating to me as it looks so wonderful but shadows, lots of greenery, reflections in the water, oh my!

I finished up my outstanding Bakers Dozen rugs last week. My sunrise I am happy with.

I finished up my last Poncho for my oldest granddaughter.

In the mail this week; no rugs to share this week unfortunately. I will be attending a hook-in on Thursday in Truro so I'll have lots of pictures of rugs that day to share next week.
Have a great week everyone!
