2026, A New Year!

First off, thanks so much for all of the wonderful good wishes, positive vibes, visits, cards, goodies, plants and messages.  I felt the love and I thank you very much.  My knee surgery went very well at least I think so, I have a follow-up two week appointment with my surgeon this coming week (Thursday), so I'll know more then and have the staples removed.

I shared on my Facebook personal page a few rugs I had completed as Christmas gifts, so if you missed seeing those just go to Della...

Merry Christmas

Time is fast approaching for that long awaited event each year.  Hopefully it gives us each something to look forward to, spending time with family and friends. Eating lots of good foods. Creating new traditions or celebrating old ones.

Yes I have my Christmas tree up as shown above.  It is artificial so it can go up early.   The tree skirt was an Encompassing Designs rug that I hooked years ago.

I finished one sock, of the cable car sock...

Light

The light is so important in our rug hooking.  Not only to see accurately the colours but as we get older, we don't see as well as we use to. The above photo I took the other day on my daily walk.  The sun is behind me and makes a very stretched long narrow me!  I find I have to look down to ensure I don't trip while walking and following the narrow me is difficult on the eyes.

I had attended last Sunday, an event being held...
