Gearing Up For Rug School
It is the week before the Rug Hooking Guild of Nova Scotia, Rug School and excitement is building. So many things to think about! What cloths to bring? Snacks? Wine? You can see where my priorities lie. I will be taking a geometric course with Tatiana Knodel. I am purchasing the pattern from her and I can't wait to get started! The plan is I will be using overdyed textures and plaids. You know how plans go. There...
Gratitude

I am so blessed to have rug hookers who want to visit my studio. Two bus loads visited this week from the Island Matters group in PEI. The ladies had a busy day, lots of shops to visit. What a day of joy for everyone. Thanks everyone for visiting and shopping, I sure do appreciate your business.

I have been knitting in the evenings and on the 'rug hooking' days on my cowl so it is getting almost done. I keep seeing lots...
Maple Time

The above photo was grabbed off of the website of Davison's Maple Syrup and Pancake House. I am heading there later today for a wonderful supper, they are located in Halfway River, NS. This camp has taken maple syrup production to an all new level, very technical, computer monitored, all sorts of things that I don't have enough knowledge to...
