If you've been following along, you probably saw many photos I posted daily of my trip to Iceland, Scotland and Holland. Fantastic trip of a lifetime that I was so fortunate to take with my mom Joan, and sister, Dianne. Two weeks is a long time though to be away from home. My favorite place we visited was Iceland. Beautiful people, amazing scenery and an erupting volcano while we were there.


More Sunshine

Another beautiful week, lots of sunshine. The above photo is my clematis at the cottage. So pretty purple.
I had the oldest grandchild (Denver) with me for a few days in addition to Sophie. He is a busy working summer student now. Was awesome having them together. They sure are growing fast. The below photo is of Denver and Sophie, we swam most every day.

Summer TIme
I hope you get to enjoy with family and friends the wonderful sunshine and nice weather. I have my granddaughter Sophie, visiting for a week so I haven't done any rug hooking. Sophie did some punching, she drew out a rainbow and is busy working on that and she's doing great.
Sophie and I baked, swam and have had a great time doing summertime things.


Proud Canadian

Canadians should be proud to be Canadian. I know I am. Canada day is upon us, hope you get to celebrate and count our blessings how fortunate we are to live in this beautiful country.
I have worked on my Gooney Bird but I am at the cottage and forgot to take a photo and my Gooney Bird is at home. I will post next week.
I worked on knitting a pair of 'anklet' socks. I can never seem to knit two exact pair of socks but no matter, they looked...
Another Busy Week

It is that time of year again! Can you guess for what? Why the beautiful puffy clouds of course! Just makes me want to touch them. The above photo was taken on the road. It was a busy week for me because every day last week, I was on the road, travelling.
I love this red maple, picture below. Depending on which way the wind is blowing, the tree can look completely different. I love this tree at our cottage in Buctuouche.
