Do you find yourself constantly, making either mental or physical check list of things to get done? Does it give you satisfaction when the task is completed? Sometimes it can be overwhelming. I find even though I'm now retired, when the weekend comes, I have an enormous 'checklist' in my head of things to get done. One of them is always housework. Frankly, it gets in the way of fun things to do but is a necessary evil. The past two weekends, I've been feeling quite pleased with my mental list...

Oh my gosh, did you miss me as much as I missed you? Not that I can see you, but I always feel connected when writing to you each week. My web page had to be 'rebuilt' by a wonderful gentleman (Cor), I think everything is pretty much the same as before with a few slight changes. It is that time of the year, if you were lucky enough to plant your own garden, you are reaping the rewards for all of your hard work this month. The feature picture above is of my father's wild blueberries. They will be ready for harvesting later this month. I grew up picking blueberries, raking blueberries, helping to clear the land as a child, hard work. Many years of hard work for my father, hoping for a good crop this year for him.

Della's Rug Hooking studio is now stocking bulky merino from the fleece artist out of Nova Scotia. We had 10 colours and now we have 5. They are sure beautiful. I am winding onto a ball in 15 yard increments. Contact the studio to get yours before they are all gone!
