The Rug Hooking Guild of Nova Scotia is very excited to begin their very first 'virtual' rug school.  Tonight was the opening ceremony on zoom.  It was nice to see faces of rug hooking friends we haven't seen in awhile.  I hope everyone enjoys their week!  Remember everyone is learning in this new environment called Zoom, help one another and be kind.

If you are like me, you have a 'few' projects on the go sitting on the back burner.  The last year has let me focus on getting some of the projects done.  I started knitting a pair of socks for my daughter when she was in University 10 years ago.  I had knit one sock but not the other.  I'm happy to report I finished the 'other' sock last week.  They were made with alpaca wool, sooooo soft.

Most of us have experienced some sort of 'change' within our lives.  Some good, some not so good.  How we handle change is different for each of us.  Grief is the same in that most of us have experienced the loss of a loved one at some point.  There is no right or wrong way with how we deal with our grief.  A year ago this month, in my province of Nova Scotia, many people experienced great loss due to a mass shooting.  My heart goes out to the people left behind to 'handle' the...

Happy Easter everyone, I hope you have been able to enjoy being with family and friends during another difficult COVID time with lots of restrictions still in place depending on where you live.  Perhaps next year we will be able to report that things are back to normal.
