Rug School, May 2, 2021

The Rug Hooking Guild of Nova Scotia is very excited to begin their very first 'virtual' rug school.  Tonight was the opening ceremony on zoom.  It was nice to see faces of rug hooking friends we haven't seen in awhile.  I hope everyone enjoys their week!  Remember everyone is learning in this new environment called Zoom, help one another and be kind.

Most of you know Nova Scotia is on lock down once again.  Everyone handles stress differently, remember to be kind in all of your daily dealings as you don't know what that other person is dealing with.  I was on a face time group chat with a few of my friends last night.  It was nice to be able to talk virtually at least and I laughed so much my belly hurt. We can't wait to get together in person!

I got another 4 squares completed on my Holly Hill rug pattern called Checkered Past.  Almost to the half way point.

Shelley and I got our Chinese Roundel patterns around the same time and Shelley still hasn't started hers as of yet.  That will change soon!  Shelley asked me to dye her wool for her pattern.  It may change but we believe the below will be her colours, 3 values of purple, yellow and green.  I can't wait to see these colours hooked!

In the mail this week, Shelley Withers sent me her Owl pattern.  It looks great!

Stay safe everyone, we can get through this!
