Another Sunday evening, another snow storm, I'm beginning to see a trend here! I guess it is to be expected as it is winter here in Nova Scotia.

The feature picture above was an experiment. The first try is pictured below and I removed the purple and red on the second try. Both are very pretty and would look wonderful in any hooked rug I think. Krista inspired me to try these sunset colors. I so appreciate my customers as they continue to push me to try different things.

This weekend, most of the Maritimes has been getting a mixture of rain, snow and ice. I don't know about you but this gives me the ideal time to hook when it is nasty outside. I don't even realize all that is going on outside as my nose is to the grind/rug.

I've been busy dyeing up a lot of wool this week and I started today dyeing wool as well. I just love how this recipe for my Sunsets and Sunflowers looks in the pan.

Christmas is fast approaching, it will be all over before we know it. I'm going to take a break from blogging until the new year and wish each and every one of you a wonderful holiday.
