Do you suffer from the ‘winter blues’ this time of year? Are you bothered by the lack of daylight, shorter days? Colder temperatures? Do you get in a ‘funk’, maybe not as social as you usually are? A lot of people may have a shorter fuse for tolerating things than any other time of the year. What can we do to help ourselves? Keep friends close, force yourself to get out of the house, do something you enjoy and take one day at a time. This too will pass. I am so fortunate to have many friends who have helped me during my recovery from my knee replacement. You know who you are and I thank them from the bottom of my heart. My knee isn't bending as it should but I am told 'it will come' and I have to trust it will.
I had shared on my Facebook pages last week the exciting news that I will be joining a couple of other wool shops for Pop-Up shopping in Dartmouth Crossing, Feb. 16th & 17th, 2024. Below is a flyer you are welcome to use and I look forward to seeing you. If you would like to preorder anything before hand that I can have ready for you, please message me, text, call or email me, I will be happy to help!
Last week I created some new wool available that I am calling transitionals. Long panels of hand dyed wool fabric that traditions from one colour to another. I hope to have more available this week.
A friend snapped this photo Friday while I was helping a couple of customers. I so enjoy teaching new rug hookers how to hook.
In the mail this week; Donna Surrette finished her Saint Nick rug, it is beautiful Donna thanks for sharing!
Have a great week everyone!
