Last night it rained, hard! Like we don't already have enough rain, the ground is so saturated, it can't hold any more. We did have some very nice days during the week though so we shouldn't complain. The sun shone brightly a few days and yesterday wasn't a total loss, rained late in the day.
It was a busy week last week. The Northport Loopers had Periwinkle Laine in to teach us all about hooking a Poppy. Did they bring their A game or what? It was a fantastic couple of days. Below is my Poppy, just a bit left to do for my background. Second photo is a group photo, some people are missing who left earlier. The last picture is of the dyeing that was done in our class as well. Ice dyeing in fact.
I finished up the hooking portion of my Tea Cozy, pattern by Winnie Glavine.
In the mail this week; Kim MacKenzie finished her Kilim rug from rug school. It is beautiful.
