Why is it at times, ok a lot of times, does it feel like you blink and months and years pass by before your eyes? Why is it at times, time seems to stop? Charlie’s niece, Avishan, has been visiting with us for the past week and the week has flown by. Avishan is visiting from Iran, had never been to Canada and one of the things she wanted to do was to see where Anne Shirley, (Anne of Green Gables) lived. I hadn’t realized Avishan didn’t know the childhood stories of Anne of Green Gables were fictional. I shattered all of her childhood beliefs regarding the life she thought Anne lived and that Anne wasn't real. Below is a photo of Avishan and her Uncle Charlie.

In the mail this week; Kate Thornhill finished this lovely rug, her design utilizing 100% wool yarn from Della’s Rug Hooking.
