Summer Summer, Summer

I think Summer has FINALLY landed!  Man it has been some warm!  I had my daughter and grandkids for the past week and it flew by!

The above photo do you recognize?  I took Sophie to Northport Beach last Monday after rug hooking.  It was beautiful and I love this row of trees going to the provincial park.  We then went to Aunt Deb's pool and enjoyed the rest of the afternoon there.

Below describes I think the entire week, swimming and relaxing.

I can't share photos of my grandkids faces on social media as my daughter and husband have asked that their children not be shared and I respect that.  You probably have noticed not many photos.

The week started off with a baby shower for my nephew Devin and his wife Erin and they don't want to be on social media so I can't share any photos of them but this beautiful cake I can.

We went clamming and the tide didn't go far enough out but we had fun searching for all sorts of creatures.  The salt water was so beautifully warm.

I haven't been working on anything other than my knitting projects and dyeing wool as needed.

Canada Day was spent a bit at the Gathering of the Clans in Pugwash with friends, Diane and Brian.

We went to Magic Mountain for a bit Thursday afternoon before the thunder and lightening took over.

Ended the week with my daughter and I being very ill with what seems to of been the 24hr flu.  We were both pretty miserable.

In the mail this week; I don't have any completed projects from customers to share this week.

I don't know the name of this shrub but I am happy about all the blossoms.

Have a great week everyone!
