The strawberries are out! Hear the people rejoice from the mountain tops! I stopped at Masstown on my way home from Halifax today and knew the fresh strawberries would be out. All hauled and washed ready to eat. What is your favorite season?
I haven't started my 'cloud' rugs as of yet. Do you ever find you have to be 'in' the right mood to rug hook? I'm just not there yet. I saw this picture below on Facebook and had to take it as reference as it has a pretty rainbow in the sky. There was a specific name for it but of course I don't recall it at the moment. It would be a nice to have a rainbow in my sky.
I don't have any more whipping done on my HollyHill Design rug and therefore nothing new to report there. Things are looking to open more in our area. Any news to share? The Ottawa House in Parrsboro, NS, is delighted to have rug hookers in to rug hook, Monday's starting July 5th, 2021, 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. The Northport Loopers are back at rug hooking at the Northport Center, NS., 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. each Monday, this began last week.
In the mail this week, Rosemary Rideout is pumping out the rugs. She has purchased several custom dyed yarns from me and is creating the Northumberland Strait. Can't wait to see more Rosemary!
