Second Sunday Before Christmas

I get a laugh when I hear the adverts on the radio that refer to shopping days until Christmas.  Yesterday all I heard all day was how it was the second Saturday before Christmas.  Is your shopping done?  I start January of every year, with good intentions.  Make my list, check it twice but then soon forget about it until October!  If I would only collect things a little at a time, it would make my life so much easier.  The problem is most of the time, I have no idea what I am getting the important people in my life.  I never was a big spender at Christmas, the money just never was there but getting something meaningful for loved ones is stressful.

The above photo are more wreaths my friends Shelley and Teralisa and I made on Thursday.  The far left though is not made of wool but all the rest are.  We had fun doing these up.

We had our rug hooking group closing this past week in Springhill.  A lovley lunch was catered to us, great food and wonderful friends. Thanks for the photo Bonnie!

I finished up my granddaughters Christmas stocking.  I am happy to see this finished.

I finished up my Winter Wonderland, pattern by Linda Marchbank.  This was the most fun project to do!

In the mail this week; Lynne Lines shared her fabulous finished ROADIE insert for the back of her jean jacket.  It is fabulous Lynne, thanks for sharing.

Donna Surrette finished up this lovely tree skirt, pattern by Irene Carter.  It is lovely Donna!  Thanks for sharing.

Have a super week everyone.  This is the last blog until after Christmas.  My wish for you is to enjoy your family and friends and eat lots of turkey!
