This winter has been a long one and my friend Diane and I had the last minute opportunity to attend a local rug hooking retreat called, 'Rid The Winter Blues' last week in Fredericton, NB. It was exactly what we needed to forget about the cold weather. It was a wonderful event, the food was great, the company was fantastic and we had lots of fun! A few pictures below from the event.

Our dear Annette Vautour won the RLC one of the evenings.

I think there are only a few spots left if you wanted to join this event next year. Contact Kevin LeMoine.
I completed my Elephant rug at the retreat and now just the whipping of the edge to do.

In the mail this week; Pauline Verstraten finished up these lovely rugs for her sisters. Polly is the one not holding a rug. All lovely Polly your sisters should be very happy.

Kim MacKenzie finished up this lovely rug, inspired by Jane Steele's monochromatic with a pop of colour.

Vicky Comeau finished up this lovely pattern she designed representing all the things she loves and her studio is displayed in the center.

Diane Benoit finished up this lovely mitten pattern with her grandchildren's names on the mitts.

Have a great week everyone!
