Remembrance, November 13, 2022

Remembrance day has come and gone and more than ever we need to not take our freedom for granted.  Those that continue to work on behalf of our country, I thank you.

It seems the week has flown by and when I think, 'what did I do'? I can't seem to pinpoint much productivity but I know I was busy. Does this happen to you?  I have worked a bit more on my trash can/bucket but not much.  A bit more on another mini punch Mandala.  Whipped a bit on my rug that I have finished hooking for quite some time.  Went Christmas shopping on Wednesday, yes Christmas is just around the corner and I like to be ready early.  Lots of dyeing wool fabric and yarns.  Today my sister (Dianne) and friend (Shelley) made Christmas pots for outside and I must say we did a good job.  Thankfully Shelley came to assist.

This lead to removing all of my 'summer' stuff I still had outside, emptied pots of dead flowers, put away my garden hose and solar lights in preparation for winter.  Winter is also right around the corner.

In the mail this week; Pauline Verstraten shared her recent rug she finished.  The background is hand dyed fabric from Della's Rug Hooking called Wonderous. It is lovely, thanks for sharing Polly.

Mary Hann shared her wonderful rug she has been working on for some time.   Most of the wool fabric in this as well was supplied by Della's Rug Hooking.  It is a beauty Mary!

Have a wonderful week everyone!
