Remember those who have fought and continue to fight for our freedom. So many lives lost. The men & women, no more than children who have gone to war. I heard a story on the radio the other day of a young man, looking forward to the adventure of seeing a part of the world he would have never imagined visiting in the early 1940's. He was married with one child, he never returned home. He is remembered. The men & women who returned home scared mentally and physically, we remember you.
I have my border well started on my Arabesque, Encompassing Design pattern. I need to finish this up as I have a new rug being started this week on a course with Linda Marchbank, Winter Wonderland. I have a Christmas stocking I need to make for my newest granddaughter and a pattern by Diane Benoit I am excited to start, a tessellation of leaves. I have a cardigan I have started to knit that will need to be finished before July of next year to wear on my 'knitting/hooking' cruise I am going on. So many things to be done, not enough time! We all have our list of things 'to do'.
I had signed up for a course at the AGM (guild annual general meeting) when in Yarmouth a few weekends ago but hadn't realized the materials weren't supplied so once I got myself some double sided fusion, I made these lovely little snippet bowls, pattern by Searsport Rug Hooking Studio. They were fun and easy to do.
In the mail this week; Ethel McCormick finished up this pattern by Della's Rug Hooking Studio. Great job Ethel.
Shelley Myers shared these two rugs she recently finished, pattern called Xmas in the Forest by Vera McInnis. Great job Shelley.
Have a great week everyone, time is going to fly from now until Christmas, so much to do seems like so little time, enjoy!
Thanks for this inspirational post ! You will have no time to be bored . :) That Arabesque is amazing and I love the little winter scenes by Shelley .
