Mother's Day, May 15, 2017

I had posted this picture on my mother's facebook today to wish her a happy Mother's Day.  This picture was taken last summer when my daughter was home from China for a month visiting.  My mother, daughter and I went to a local spa to have our toe and finger nails done.  I rarely visit salons for this, I do my own nails and not very well or very often.  I thought this would be something fun for us girls to do together.  Mom is 20 years older than I am, she is now 74 and my daughter is 25.

I'm fortunate my mother is healthy and doing well.  I hope I can do all the things she does when I am her age.

I haven't been able to get much work done on my 'Provincial Rug', pattern by Jane Steele.  I put a bit of the red in that I had dyed up and I'm loving it!

Lots of order for Ruby Violet that I had dyed up earlier this week.  I dyed more this weekend, it is so beautiful.  I tried a couple of new recipes today, I'm calling this one Spurge Royalty.  It is a flower and to me this wool looks exactly like it, so pretty.

The other I dyed I'm calling Harvesting.

Hope you all have a blessed week!
