Another beautiful week, lots of sunshine. The above photo is my clematis at the cottage. So pretty purple.
I had the oldest grandchild (Denver) with me for a few days in addition to Sophie. He is a busy working summer student now. Was awesome having them together. They sure are growing fast. The below photo is of Denver and Sophie, we swam most every day.
I finished up my 'tea cozy' that I made, a Winnie Glavine pattern. I sure hope it fits the tea pot for our friends in California. Thanks mom (Joan) for putting it all together for me. I mailed it out for Ziba's birthday this week.
Last evening, my mom (Joan) and dad (Winston) took Charlie and I out for supper in Moncton. On the way home, we stopped into see my dads sister June who just arrived home from Ontario at her cottage for the summer. My dads other sister Shirley and her husband Owen also came over to visit. I took the below photo, these guys are amazing is all I can say. The youngest is my mom, 82, the oldest is my Aunt June who is 93 and 5 weeks ago she fell and broke her hip. It is a blessing to still have them all.
There is a special event being held in Northport next weekend, see below advert for this event. Hope to see you there!
In the mail this week; Charlene Frehlick shared this beautiful rug she just finished. Pattern by Bette Young from PEI. Beautiful job Charlene.
Have a great week everyone, you won't see me for a few weeks until I get home from my trip to Europe. Stay well!
