More Snow, January 20, 2020

Another Sunday evening, another snow storm, I'm beginning to see a trend here! I guess it is to be expected as it is winter here in Nova Scotia.

The feature picture above was an experiment. The first try is pictured below and I removed the purple and red on the second try. Both are very pretty and would look wonderful in any hooked rug I think. Krista inspired me to try these sunset colors. I so appreciate my customers as they continue to push me to try different things.

I have a new color in the shop called Brilliant Gold, see below.

What can you picture using this color wool for?

In last weeks blog, I shared my progress on my Christmas Cardinal Tree Skirt. Today I had posted on FaceBook a Live video showing my progress but for those that may have missed that, below are a couple pictures of my progress to date.

In the mail this week, Linda shared her progress on a Deanne Fitzpatrick pattern. Linda is doing a wonderful job and says she really enjoys rug hooking. Thanks so much Linda for allowing me to share your progress.

I hope you have an awesome week. Look for the good in everything you see!
