Long Weekends

Labour Day weekend in Canada is always bitter sweet. The beginning of another school year for students and usually the beginning of cooler weather for fall.  The three grandchildren above are who kept me busy last week.  I needed an updated photo of them all three together and that was work as the littlest one, Alina, doesn't like to sit still.  Alina is almost 1 1/2 yrs old, Denver in the center is almost 16 yrs old and Sophie on the right is 6 yrs old.  How time flies.  We had a great week.

I worked a bit on my Springhill challenge rug.  I hope to have it finished this coming week.

It is going to be a busy week for me, I am off tomorrow to a PEI retreat for the week with the Moncton, Past Time Matters rug hooking group.  Should be a great time.

Mark your calendars for September 15th, 2025, The Northport Loopers are hosting their annual Hook-In, Della's Rug Hooking is vending.  RSVP Polly Verstraten at pollyverstraten@yahoo.ca.  Hope to see you there.

In the mail this week; Elexa Douglas finished her Pop of Colour rug she did in a Jane Steele course at Rug School.  Thanks for sharing Elexa, it is gorgeous!

Have a wonderful week everyone!
