Keeping Warm

Nova Scotia is in the deep freeze this weekend it seems.  I hope you are able to stay warm.  This has been a winter of lots of snow, ice and cold.

I don't have much to update.  I've been working on my granddaughters rag quilt a bit but not much.  Sewing the rows together now.

I haven't done much else.  I have to get in the dye pots to get ready for our vending February 13th and 14th, 2026 at Dartmouth Crossing, Hampton Inn.  Look forward to seeing you all there.

I have been knitting a bit on my 'bubble cowl', it will take a long time to knit this I'm afraid.

I got registered for Rug School in May.  I hope you were able to get the class you wanted.  I will be taking a class with Tatiana Knodel, Beautifully Simple, Playing with Geometrics.  I love geometrics so I know I will enjoy.  Spaces are still open for this class and a few others, have a look at the Rug Hooking Guild of Nova Scotia web site to read all about it.

I signed up this week for watercolor painting zoom classes.  I am looking forward to seeing if I can paint!  I have done a few 'paint nights' before but this will be different for sure.

I had signed up for the Baker's Dozen with Winnie Glavine (13 zoom classes) and our second class is tomorrow evening, we will be learning about hooking a deciduous tree.  Stay tuned!

In the mail this week; I don't have any rugs to share.

Have an awesome week everyone!
