It has been a busy couple of weeks. I vended at the Springhill Hook-in on May 17th, the above picture is of Shelley and I. Thank you Shelley for all you do for me, I truly appreciate it! I thank all those who bought from me at the hook-in, was wonderful to see everyone.
Below is Betty MacKay's puzzle rug she completed, sold by Della's Rug Hooking Studio. She did a great job.
Joan Fuller finished this little Buoy design by Della's Rug Hooking Studio. So sweet, thanks for sharing Joan.
We've had birthday celebrations (my granddaughter). Below is a picture of four generations.
I took a basket weaving course from Doris-Ann of Savoie Baskets. Below is what I had created at the class on Friday and the second picture is of a little basket I made yesterday once I got home. I have two more kits to make. I have always wanted to take a basket weaving course and this was so much fun. Watch out for more classes Doris-Ann does from www.sisterhoodfibres.com.
Here is a group photo of everyone who took the basket weaving course at Sisterhood Fibres in Tatamagouche. So lovely to see how everyone's basket is slightly different from each other. The photo of my basket was before I hand painted with a natural walnut solution.
The below is an update on my rug school rug. I haven't done much more but will get back at it this week for sure.
In the mail this week; Karen Stratton finished up her rug she started at rug school. It is of her service dog Bailey. Fabulous work Karen and thanks for letting me share.
Shelley finished her rug I designed from a table runner my mom has been making for several years. It is lovely Shelley.
Have a great week everyone!
