Another year has begun. What goals or objectives have you set for yourself this year? I use to make new year resolutions and over the years, I just stopped. My time is my own now so 2023 I am making plans to go to as many hook-ins, retreats, rug school as possible! I want to try line dancing this year, not sure if I can do it or not with my bad knee as it is but I will certainly give it a go.
Last week I was in Moncton and saw the above Flying Moose. You've heard of the term, 'when pigs fly', well now we can say when moose fly!
I wanted to finish off 2022 having most of my rug hooking projects completed. Below are what I finished up. Only one rug on the go now, my Russian alphabet rug.
There is a lovely rug hooking retreat being planned by the Hertitage Rug Hooking guild, February 13, 14, 15, 16 at the Villa Madonna in Rothesay, New Brunswick. If this is something that might interest you, we have a few spots open. Come and enjoy a nice relaxing time with fellow rug hookers. You can email me for more info at firstname.lastname@example.org.
In the mail this week; CA O'Neil from Newfoundland did this lovely monochromatic, one day I want to try one. The first picture is her step by step.
Maureen Robertson finished up my pattern called One Wish. Good job Maureen!
Susan Walsh shared this lovely rug called Umbrella Party she made for her granddaughter. Susan punched it.
Have a great week everyone!
