We will all agree, January was a tough month due to the cold and snow. We have survived it though and now onwards and upwards, longer daylight days.
What have I been up to? Daily knee exercises, visits to physio, the knee is coming along but slowly and I don't do well with slow. I finished putting together my last rag quilt, just the clipping of the edges to do. The Bakers Dozen courses I'm taking on zoom, last weeks was wonderful. Lara Wellman taught us about hooking trees and bark. I'll never look at trees the same. Below is my progress on my bark, just the other side of the tree to do.

Last summer while in Scotland, I had taken the below picture that I thought was beautiful, looking up into the tree. So I converted it to a drawing and I may try to attempt to hook it, we shall see. Lara has inspired me!

No other progress reports from me this week. I am back in the dye pots this week, trying to get ready for my vending at the Hampton Inn, February 13 & 14th, 2026 in Dartmouth Crossing with Periwinkle Laine and Creative Ewe. Can't wait to see you all.
In the mail this week; Kim MacKenzie had completed a bunch of Christmas stockings before Christmas but I wasn't to share with you all until they had been given as gifts so now I can share. They are all beautiful Kim.

Irene Rogers also hooked these lovely Christmas stockings. Thanks Irene!

Shelley Myers finished up this lovely pattern by Loopy Wool. Pretty Shelley.

Lynne O'Brien Lines finished up these two crows for a friend. They are so gorgeous and she is now 'hooked' on crows.

Have a great week everyone!
