Frosty January, January 17, 2021

Yesterday morning, it was so beautiful out! Everything was covered in a frost. I walked to my mom and dads, who live next door to me, I kept stopping trying to capture the wonderful frost in a picture. I found no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't get the pictures to be as beautiful as the reality.

Our kitten, Chubs, is doing well. He's 4 months old now and loves to explore outside. My moms cat, 'Dusty' from next door, has been visiting my place since he was a baby and he's 3 1/2 years old now. I looked out the door to see where Chubs was and I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Dusty and Chubs were getting to know one another. I missed the perfect picture as they did touch noses.

I worked most of this weekend dyeing wool for my wonderful customers. Have I told you before I have the best customers? You keep proving you are the best all the time!

Friday night, I braided a purse strap for my jean purse. I have two purses ready for the next step of putting in a lining and attaching a strap. I wanted to have one ready for my next zoom class this week. You have probably heard me say before that I detest sewing. Thank heaven I have my mom who is a beautiful sewer as I spent yesterday morning, 'watching' my mom put a lining in my jean purse and attach my braided strap. See below end result.

Below is my paisley jean purse to match my carpet bag. I just need to find a strap. I'm thinking a thin black or grey leather strap.

In the mail this week, Linda Arenburg shared her lovely 'Hippo' rug she is making for a new grand baby coming. It is adorable. Thanks Linda for letting me share.

Continue to stay safe and healthy everyone. Choose to be kind and have an awesome week!

A few more frosty pictures for your enjoyment.
