Finishing Projects, March 26, 2023

I love the feeling of finishing a project.  It is like a weight off of my shoulders.  The Russian Alphabet  rug, I've been working on and mostly off for a year, has now been completed.  Front and back side as the back side has the 'secret message'.  My granddaughter will enjoy this in her playroom.

I attended an online Fine Shaded Flower course using Non-Traditional materials with Robin Whitford.  We have one more class to go but I have finished my Lily and wanted to show you. Robin is a very good teacher and I would highly recommend taking any class from her.

In the mail this week; Kim MacKenzie has been hard at it once again. This first piece she did all in yarn.  It is a pattern by Gwen's Homemade Creations called Points to Home.  Very nice Kim.

This second piece also completed by Kim MacKenzie is a pattern from Spruce Top called Sunflowers.  Hooked in wool fabric supplied by Della's Rug Hooking.  Lovely Kim!

Have a good week everyone, don't forget to be kind to all those you interact with.  You may not know what they are going through.
