Finishing Outstanding Projects, July 15, 2019

Do you start one thing before finishing a previous project? I think a lot of us are guilty of this. I sure am and there are always reasons. I got bored with that previous project, I don't like the colors of that project, I'm stuck, I don't know what to do next on that project. I wanted to start xyz project. It is so much fun starting a new project!

I've been trying to clean up some of my outstanding projects and I've made some head way this weekend finally. The feature picture above is the 'Perfect Find' pattern by my daughter Jenna that I've finished with a crochet edge.

I've had the 'Holy Mug Rugs' done for ages but not finished. They are now done! Together they look like a Holy Leaf, separate they are mug rugs.

Tuesday's Large Flower course using torn strips went very well and created another project to be done. I'm happy to say I'm done! I whipped the edges and put a piece of wool on the back. Have a look, I love it!

Front & Back

A few pictures from the class lead by Patsy Gorveatte. Patsy kept us on task and taught us all we needed for this project. I think everyone enjoyed their day.

The below rug is Sally's completed chair pad, isn't it wonderful?

I'm making some headway on another outstanding project. I think this past Valentines everyone was showing their hearts they had hooked and I didn't have one to show so I got to work hooking one and of course got off track and didn't get back to it! It is coming along nicely now, should have it done this week.

I have a 'pile' of patterns I've purchased over the years that I need to begin hooking and I am just itching to do them but I need to finish my outstanding projects first, gosh dang it! Not that I 'have to' but I want to clean up my outstanding projects as it will take a weight off of my mind. After this heart pattern I think I have 2 more outstanding projects to do, a scarecrow pillow and my daughters rug, a donut with a bite out of it that I think I began over 3 years ago so it is probably the oldest outstanding project on my 'to do' list. I'm getting there.

I told you about my pile of patterns 'to do' not started yet but I have a pattern brewing in the back of my mind that I want to start. I've dyed the wool for it. I want to draw it out so bad...lol See below colors for my 'next' rug, stay tuned what it will be.

Have an awesome week everyone!
