I know we are all very tired of the pandemic and restrictions, we've been poked and jabbed, isolated, masked some hospitalized, and a lot of deaths. The above picture popped up on my twitter account, titled BREAKING NEWS, NS Variant, by Andy Bowers! Until I opened and saw the mans face within the little virus circles, I was worried for a moment, 'oh no, now what'! It made me smile. I didn't know how to exchange his face for mine so left it as it was. I have spent the last 6 days with COVID19. It finally arrived to my home, came uninvited and it is nothing to put your nose up at and I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. It hasn't been fun. I am so thankful for the vaccinations that kept the worst at bay.
I have a wee bit more done on my little Ultra punching project but not much.
In a few weeks, I am attending a Rug Hooking Retreat in Newfoundland. I will be taking a course with Yvonne Iten-Scott, hosted by Woolly Good Rug Hooking, AGATE: Transformation Through Earth-Inspired Energy. Presently I am leaning towards a Lake Superior Agate, see below.
In the mail this week; Pauline Verstraten finished up her Maud Lewis pattern, it is lovely.

I’m so sorry you have had to suffer this horrid stuff, Della. I too had a very mild form of it, thanks to shots, but as you say…not fun! 🤗 I found the circles really creepy myself, lol, but I’ve thought earlier to eventually make a Covid symbol mat too. A reflection of our time. First finish my other hooking projects on the frames, hahaha. 🙄😂🤷♀️. Feel better and better soon.
