Canadian Thanksgiving, October 13, 2019

I hope this weekend has been all you wished it to be. We have so much to be thankful for. The feature picture above is my dear granddaughter, Sophie. My neighbor Kathy made the turkey hat at the request of my daughter. It is so cute. My daughter Jenna did all the props and my dear friend Jean, made the onesie with the cute saying 'babies 1st Thanksgiving'. Too cute.

I don't have to think long about all that I'm thankful for, I'm surrounded by wonderful friends and family. Sometimes we need to remind ourselves of all we are grateful for.

It has been a crazy busy week, orders coming through my web site, through etsy and phone calls, I am so blessed. I'm doing my best to get everyone's orders done and to prepare for Tuesday's vending. I spent a lot of time this past week dyeing up all sorts of Dorr wool textures and plaids making fall colors that I'm calling, Leaf Bundles. They are so pretty.

Last Tuesday we were busy making door prize baskets of goodies. Many hands make light work and man are you guys who attend the hook-in this coming Tuesday at the Knights of Columbus, going to be some excited if you win!

At the Springhill weekly hooking, a couple of ladies shared their completed rugs. They are just amazing I think. Betty Rockwell did this rug from a painting. She will have this displayed at the Rug Display, Friday and Saturday at the Community Credit Union Center.

Monica completed this beauty.

My friend Shelley completed her seahorse.

There is no hooking here at the studio on Tuesday as I will be vending at the Knights of Columbus, 5 Robie Street. Hope to see you there!

Have an awesome weekend everyone, remember to tell those you love, that you love them!
