Canada Day and Independence Day, July 4, 2021

Happy Canada day to all of my Canadian family, friends and fellow rug hookers.  Today is Independence Day in the US, happy day to you as well!  It has been a very rainy weekend in my neck of the woods.  I hope you were able to get together with family and friends.

The above colour I hadn't realized I missed posting onto my web site.  It is called Wonder of the Deep.  Isn't it gorgeous? I have placed it under the category of A League of Their Own.

Future Events: Reminder that rug hooking begins tomorrow, July 5th, 2021 at the Parrsboro Ottawa House, 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  Rug hookers are welcome to come sit on the porch and hook for a spell.  Rug hooking is at the Northport Community Center, every Monday, 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  If you are in the neighborhood for either of these, drop in.

In the Mail this week, Rosemary Rideout, had shared last week with us her Northumberland rug that had been started.  Now it is finished and is lovely.  Yarns hand dyed by Della's Rug Hooking Studio.

Lois Poitras has finished her rug, all wool fabric and yarns, hand dyed by Della's Rug Hooking Studio.  It is lovely Lois, well done!

Have an awesome week everyone!
