Canada and Independence Day

July 1st and July 4th are practically on top of one another and therefore our American and Canadian friends and family have a lot to celebrate.  We are very fortunate to live where we do.  I hope you get time to sit back and take everything in around you and pull a loop or two as well.  Summer is in full swing here in Eastern Canada and lots to be thankful for.

I went on a hooking spree last week.  I haven't had time to just sit and hook in a long time and I began a Periwinkle Laine pattern last Sunday and finished it by Wednesday.  I hung it up after pressing then decided I wanted to crochet the edge so I am working on that now.  Picture below.

These lovely ladies (Tanya, Sheila, Marilyn) from Truro visited my studio on Friday, I found them sitting comfortably at my table and chairs on my deck enjoying my view when I arrived home.  Was very nice to have them visit.

In the mail this week; I have no photos of rugs from my customers to share this week.

I hope you all enjoy your extra long weekend and the bits of sunshine that come and go between the rain.
