I don't know about you but man my April has been very busy! I'm not sure how I had time to work full time when I did work! It will be 5 years July 1st, since I retired and those 37 years before retiring seem like a blink of the eye but at the time seemed like retirement would never come.
I finally finished this little pattern by Loopy Wool. I punched with 2 ply hand dyed wool yarns from Della's Rug Hooking. I don't enjoy punching with yarn so I will try to remember that next time I think it would be a good idea to punch a pattern.
I picked back up my huge pattern by Encompassing Designs. I worked a little bit this week on it but not much as I have been so busy dyeing wool yarns and fabrics getting ready for the May 15th, Springhill hook-in. Hope to see you there!
In the mail this week; Kathy Visser shared this lovely pillow she hooked. She reminded me that the sunflowers were using my wool. Beautiful job Kathy! Kathy has a little studio in Peace River, Alberta, Hooking In Peace, drop in for hooking on Monday's 7-9.
Edie Hagarty, finished this lovely pattern by Sue Cunningham and Edie reminded me that my wool called Northern Lights was used for the sky. Well done Edie!
Katherine Pettigrew finished the hooking part of this pattern by Della's Rug Hooking Studio, called Dahlia Garden. I haven't seen one done quite like this one it is lovely Katherine, thanks for sharing!
Have a great week everyone!
