Bright Sunshine of February

February isn’t leaving without dumping snow and rain for others. We got a pile of snow yesterday and it is so pretty today.  It is very icy underneath all the snow so be careful out there.  To me this is what winter should be. The bright sunshine this time of year warms up a room in a heart beat. Makes one want to lay in the sunbeams like a cat.

In the mail this week; Faye Spence shared a couple of her finished rugs. The first is a pattern by Della’s Rug Hooking called Dahlia, the second pattern unknown. Thanks for sharing Faye.

Lynne Lines completed these lovely three birds for her husbands birthday. They are adorable Lynne.

Lara Fawthrop shared her lovely Hit & Miss rug she finished. I love the design Lara did. It is a wonderful way to use up scraps of wool.

Have a great week everyone!

  • I think the unknown pattern might be by Joan Kay’s in PEI. I loved it a few years ago and managed to track her down for permission to hook. I still love it a lot.
