April Showers

It is hard to believe that April is near over!  The old saying, 'April showers bring May flowers', I sure hope it is right as we've had our share of April showers I think.

It has been a very busy week.  Wednesday, the Springhill group had a Coneflower course with Carolyn Ells.  It was a fun workshop to do, here is a few photos. My coneflower is the one in the second photo with the blue background mainly hooked.

The ROADIE'S were on the road again, we attended the Catherine Mercer Hook-In in Subenacadie.  Was a great day and was an excuse to show off our Jean Jackets again.

Last year, at the same hook-in, a pattern and hanger were given to all participants and it was a tulip pattern.  We are encouraged to bring the following year.  Below are a couple of photos of the tulip rugs. I think I had shared my completed Tulips mostly done with nylons which is top right first picture.

Below is my progress on my Malin cardigan I have been knitting on. One sleeve left to complete and sew the buttons on and block it.

In the mail this week; Diane Benoit, Kim MacKenzie and Vicky Comeau (in order as named) finished their lovely tulip patterns.

Sally Janes finished up this lovely Sista Pattern by Della's Rug Hooking Studio as well as the hand dyed fabric.  Lovely job Sally.

Theresa Barnes finished up this lovely Lotus Flower rug she has made for her sister's birthday.  Well done Theresa, thanks for sharing! Wool supplied by Della's Rug Hooking Studio.

Have a great week everyone!
