Another Week of Rain

I spent the weekend at my daughters and my oldest granddaughter turned 6 on Friday.  Her father loves to 'rock climb' and Sophie has been asking for some time if her father would let her rock climb.  He promised her when she turned 6, he will take her rock climbing.  Friday Sophie went rock climbing.  This is her above and guess what?  She loves it and wants to go again.

When it rains daily, we need to find other things to do inside.  Dream about your next hooking project? Begin a new hooking project? Dream about what flowers you want to plant, (if it ever stops raining)?  I vended in Springhill last week, lots of rug hookers indoors having a blast chatting, hooking and eating.  Can't beat that.  A few pictures below of this event.

In the mail this week; Kim MacKenzie finished up this lovely pattern by Encompassing Designs.  Thanks for sharing Kim, good job.

Julie Dowe shared this lovely rug, poppy pattern by Deanne Fitzpatrick.  The poppies were done using Della's Rug Hooking Studio fabric called Fantasia.  Another beautiful way to use this wool.  Thanks for sharing Julie!

Diane Benoit finished up this lovely sea horse, her own pattern.  It is lovely Diane, thanks for sharing.

Have a great week everyone, keep on day dreaming of what to do inside, more rain in our future.
